With the arrival of the ‘Glome’ vinyl release, Munich-based IO Records comes to Neue Welle on the 18th of April. Known for bridging the gap between various electronic sounds, the collective brings their signature blend of catchy and forward-thinking sound design to Leipzig.

As an audiovisual label and artist collective, IO has carved out a unique space in the scene, defined by a manifold output that is as much about the eyes as it is about the ears.

But more than a release party, this is an exploration of the IO universe in its entirety: showcasing the sweet spot where experimental curiosity meets rhythmic precision, bringing that balance to the club, moving through the label’s signature blend of ambient textures and deconstructed club music.

Mitra [Live]
Mitra is a live electronic music duo from Vienna and Munich. They specialize in experimental sound, using live improvisation and frequencies to adapt each performance to the time and atmosphere. Through a fusion of genres, they have developed a sound that moves beyond fixed categorization.
Polygonia
Polygonia is a multidisciplinary music and art project by Munich-based artist Lindsey Wang. Drawing from a background in acoustic instruments and a strong interest in cultural diversity, she creates colourful electronic music enriched with complex sound design and intricate yet compelling rhythms.

Her work is defined by a dynamic fusion of genres, resulting in a distinctive sound that moves beyond fixed categorisation. Elements of techno, bass music, breakbeat, house, electro, grey area, IDM and beyond intertwine throughout her productions. This genre-fluid approach is evident in releases such as her album Dream Horizons (2025) on Dekmantel and the Otro Mundo EP (2023) on Bambe, while nature continues to serve as a recurring source of inspiration.

In both DJ and live sets, Polygonia explores a wide emotional spectrum, adapting her performances to time and atmosphere. Since 2023, She is holding a residency at Munich’s BLITZ club.

Beyond her solo work, she co-founded the IO collective and label in 2018 and launched her own label QEONE in 2022. In 2021, she formed the electric jazz trio Lyder and continues to explore the intersection of electronic and jazz through her collaboration with drummer Simon Popp. In 2025, she also co-founded the audio software company DSP Dealer.

Vanta [Live]
Marvin Hoyer aka Vanta based in Leipzig, is an artist who navigates the space between raw intensity and hypnotic sound design. Originally rooted in metalcore and hardcore, he has always been drawn to the realms of electronic and experimental music. Exploring the unknown through impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds, and dark, immersive atmospheres, his goal is to captivate listeners with his productions, DJ sets, and live performances.

Since 2019, Vanta has been shaping his distinct sound within both the local and international scene, releasing on labels such as Charybdis, Further Sessions, KVLTÖ Records, and Deflection Music, among others. His productions reflect a deep fascination with raw energy, hypnotic structures, and sonic contrasts, merging intensity with precision.

In late 2024, he became an official member of Munich-based IO Records, finding not only a creative home but also a like-minded community. In 2025, he joined Leipzig’s aequalis crew, known for its influential event series that once defined the sound of the late Institut für Zukunft and now continues to evolve beyond its former home. With a vision that bridges genres and defies conventions, Vanta remains committed to pushing sonic boundaries, always seeking the next unexplored space in sound.
