Queer Music Festival 2026

Start: 23:00
Abendkasse / Box Office only
Club night in collaboration with NO NO NO!

DJs, bodies and collective ecstasy: every festival naturally includes a wild party – that moment when everything lets go. Someone who knows exactly how to make that happen is ND_BAUMECKER. The Berlin-based DJ doesn’t just tell club stories, he lives them: Panorama Bar etched into his muscle memory, house, techno, disco, funk – nothing stays static, everything gets moving. With SHERØ, 90s house, rave, breakbeats, acid and new beat meet a clear stance: her sound is direct, physical and deeply queer. JORAMIA plays with memory: driving tech-house meets acapellas from the 80s to the 2010s. Familiar voices in a new context, somewhere between euphoria and recognition. And right in the middle of it all, Athena Owls: a drag goddess with glitter, c^ntyness and a sure instinct for everything that puts you in a good mood.

nd_baumecker
nd_baumecker’s sets have long been known to heads as a foundational part of the Berghain / Panorama Bar's identity: deep, unpredictable, funky, bassline-heavy, melodic, and seamless flowing between different rhythms and key-changes.

A Frankfurt native Andreas Baumecker aka nd_baumecker began his DJ career in 1991 in a bar called Romantica, located near the city’s main train station. The venue was run by legendary nightlife impresario Hans Romanov, who also operated Intimbar, where Baumecker would eventually move on to a short time later. It’s there that Ata and Heiko M/S/O from Playhouse took notice, inviting Baumecker to work as a buyer for their record store Delirium and offering him a residency at their seminal WildPitchClub night at the Club Nachtleben. Soon, Baumecker was regularly playing Frankfurt’s numerous electronic music venues (Box, XS, Music Hall, Dorian Grey), before moving on to Heidelberg, where he promoted the club night HD800 together with Dirk Mantei aka D-Man. After a short stop in Mannheim, regular guest DJ sets at Berghain / Panorama Bar predecessor club OstGut in Berlin, and establishing his own label Freundinnen Audio, nd_baumecker moved to the German capital in 2004. There he not only picked up a residency at Panorama Bar inside the newly opened Berghain but also started a job as the club’s in-house booker.

Stylistically, Baumecker covers a truly broad spectrum of dance music, refusing to be limited by genre: "A well known choreographer once said: 'Surprise is important.’ I think this approach describes my DJ style best. I’m constantly oscillating between disco, house, techno, electro, broken beats and pop. Ultimately, I’m open to anything – from brute force to tender. I see the dance floor an experimental field: If you manage to really capture the crowd, you can do almost anything with them." Of course, the flow of tracks and resolving musical differences plays a key role in achieving just that, and few DJs are as adept at uniting fundamentally disparate sounds, different keys, different rhythms and different atmospheres. „If something sounds truly new to me they give me a jolt. Also, dance music should have a good portion of funk and, in a way, it needs to sound like disco, whatever the style. I like vocals a lot. In my opinion they are the most important and significant bits you’re taking home after a good night out; they’re the most memorable."

Since 2010 nd also produces with Sam Barker as Barker & Baumecker. The duo have released four 12”s and two albums on Ostgut Ton, operating musically between dancefloor and spiraling left field electronics. Finally, November 2018 sees release of nd_baumecker’s Panorama Bar 07 DJ mix.
Sherø
Sherø brings a flavor of 90’s house, rave, jackin', breakbeat, Detroit and new beat nostalgia with an often sensual energetic melancholic soulful twist. Founder of KlubKid Records, resident at Brenn, regular at Gegen, Golosa and Berlin‘s queer party scene.

After more than 25 years of spinning and producing under pseudonyms Stephanie, D’Stephanie, and later on D’Steph, with releases on renowned labels such as Sonar Kollektiv, Chez, Jalapeno, Hed Kandi, PUMA… a change was necessary to break down old habits and reinvent oneself. This resulted in a short move to London in the summer of 2015 and a more consistent one to Berlin 2 months later. It's In Berlin where she revived her passion for real underground house music in its most honest way and resuscitated her inner nineties kid that just discovered house by bringing back the essence of house music without genre limitations… The kind of house music that was about your mind, your body, and your soul. The ultimate seduction for rebels, artists, anarchists, people of all nations, colors, genders, sexualities, and most of all an open-minded, non-commercialized or marketed community. To put this feeling into action, a new pseudonym was inevitable and Sherø was born.

Eversince Sherø became a regular at Berlin’s best party scene with a residency at Brenn. and sets at Hor, Buttons, Gegen, Cocktail d’Amore, RSO, Horse meat disco, Watergate, About Blank, KAKE, Renate, Golosa, Whole festival, the Garbicz festival…

Around 2018 an old childhood dream resurfaced and resulted in a a few years of brainstorming and preparations to start her own record label. In 2020, right at the start of the pandemic she launched her own imprint KlubKid Records, a queer record label with a cute small roster of quality artists from the electronic music scene: Karma She, Electrosexual, Sherø, Joy Wellboy, Kirill Shapovalov, with his Haute Dance project, Pepper Levain, and Dornika.

Athena Owls (Drag Performance)
Athena Owl’s journey began in spring 2021, in the midst of the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. She bought loads of make-up and experimented with different looks. She went to various parties. She strutted about in high heels. In summer 2022, the first ideas for stage performances took shape, and in September she made her debut at an open stage event for drag performances.
