Margaux
Margaux is a DJ and producer based in Berlin since 2017. Her eclectic, organic DJ sets traverse ambient and experimental jazz, and evolve naturally into minimal, groovy, deep dub sounds. Her breakout track Water on Mars was released to acclaim on Smallville’s Fi-y-five Ways EP in 2019, but recent productions take on a more organic form by combining field recording techniques and original acoustic instrumentation.
Having lived in Vietnam for five years from 2012, Margaux played a key role in developing Hanoi’s underground electronic music community. With festival appearances at Fusion, Waking Life and Equation, and guest slots at parties like Giegling’s Paradise Down by the Lake and La Station in Paris, Margaux has cemented her reputation as a forward thinking selector with a globally influenced sound.
Map.ache
Map.ache is a DJ and producer from Leipzig, part of the Giegling collective and a much sought after remixer. He is also one half of the DJ duo Manamana as well as co-founder of the record label KANN. In Leipzig Map.ache has been a big huge contributor to the local scene, formerly being a long term booker of Leipzig Institution Conne Island.
DJ Balduin
DJ Balduin is familiar with making dancefloors move for over twenty years. As an avid believer that some songs shine only under the right circumstances he doesn’t shy away from weaving repetitive loops with patterns of ambience just to let some hands-up moments unfold every now and then. Since he doesn’t like to think in categories, his best guess to describe his vivid 4/4 sets would be “Hypno celestial salsa-dub house“.
In Leipzig, where he is living and working, he publishes music across all genres on his label GLYK. And as the Powerambient dreamteam Feuerbach (with yet unseen) he explores his musical boundaries even more.
DJ Balduin has upcoming releases on KANN, Dawn State and Inch By Inch and put out music on labels like Kompakt, QC Records and his own imprint GLYK.
