After we celebrated so heavily (or heavenly?) together at “Winter Safara“ back in February, it’s definitely time to move further with the seasons and reunite again. We call it “Summer Safara”! And you are all invited to join the DJs of Afro Leipzig Show and Feevah for a multi-genre-cruise, always keeping a firm eye on our beloved african rooted music. Let’s dance & vibe until the morning hours to the sounds of Afrotech & Afrohouse, as well as Batida, Kuduro and Amapiano, not to forget some bouncy Afrobeats, Dancehall and Reggaeton for the go-down-low-posse. From our “one of a kind” DJ Raph you can expect some fresh tunes and classics to bend your body to — whilst getting the ultimate massage from the club-installed Function One soundsystem. Tasty! Above that, Berlin-born and now Leipzig-based Sithara will show you her unique way of killing expectations of sound purists with an ecclectic and sensitive selection ranging from Detroit Electro to Hip Hop via Global Bass and Funk. Lioness Mob makes you feel her roaring through an earth-shattering mixture of Afrobeats and Amapiano – you better prepare yourself! Oboy Fresh is self-taught DJ and has been curious about music since childhood days. In fact he’s a real melomaniac and inspired by a colorful variety of music from Mboles & Coupe Decale to Afrobeat & Dancehall to Amapiano, Techno & House. It stands for the slogan “music is all we need”. Finally there’s Sencha on board, showcasing his skills as DJ and Selector he developed during the last 29 years. This comes with a playful and intuitive way of presenting music, as he’s permanently drawing from a huge palette of influences in his DJ-Sets.
