The First R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings Party

DJ Life

The Wizard of South East Oz is here, and he now goes by DJ Life. When DJing is life, this is what you do. You subsume the scenes you wish to traverse and cook up consistently strong tracks for the labels you adore. DJ Life has already released on Echocentric, Dansu Discs, Potatoheadz, R.A.N.D. Muzik and Gestalt in a remarkably short space of time. His tireless work ethic has led to features on Rinse France and he’s also signed up to neophyte Lobster Theremin offshoot SITU with 3 other heady releases locked in for the near future. Blending 2000s tech house, progressive house and trance, his stylings sit pretty in the burgeoning South East Australian underground scene. Fabricating pumping kicks and industrious melodies as evocative as they come, it must be said that his story could be one for the prospective dance history books.

DJ Niamh

Cutting her teeth across the community radio airwaves, Melbourne’s DJ Niamh has an all-embracing approach to selecting – but with a particular focus on percussive, bassy, and left-field sounds. Her mixing is driven by mood, creating a narrative for the dance floor to latch on to and move with.

Reece Walker

Reece Walker (sometimes known as Carmel) is a DJ and producer originally from Perth, Australia but he lives in Leipzig now. He has released on labels such as Kann, Long Vehicle and R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings – the label that he founded and runs.
