the other day, when we were driving up the sneaky path through the hole in the fence, we realised that we can’t in the least understand how we actually got to know each other, which may be due on the one hand to the general hazyness in which everything that lies for more than twenty minutes in our house finds itself, and on the other hand because when it came to it, it didn’t matter any more, because we knew quite well that those who have been claiming since then that we would fit together without comparison would have been right at any time. for the recording, we usually agreed on saturday or sunday that we should really meet on monday the next week, unlike last week. it usually only worked out on tuesday. or even on wednesday, and if at all, then at eleven rather than at seven. when it did happen, there were always other problems, like for example that they were testing how much of the bass from the tower block across the street would reach mrs streller, or mrs JPLA was in a bad mood and made a mess of us, because we didn’t bother to email the technical group to find out if our training times would fit in, so that we almost left in a huff and without having achieved anything. this very announcement of the training times was almost impossible for us for the reasons mentioned above: we agreed at the very beginning of the venture that we would only call each other if one of us would be on time, since we regularly turn up at least an hour late for any appointments, so as to make sure that one of us would never have to wait unreasonably long for the other. of course, this did not happen even once in several months. the result is exactly what we both like, but what we can’t tell the guys at the corner because they’d call us pussies* – but what we’d dream of for a better future, if we were read. mdmk are dahmar and moritz kaiser, but we probably wouldn’t have had to write that down again.
